Today I stood under the branches of our flowering plum tree and smelled the fragrance of the blossoms and listened to the bees swarming around my head ... not interested in me, of course, but in the nectar. It's so good to see the bees, knowing that in other places, they are dying.

Goudeygal, How fast was the exposure? A great shot, but you got the wrong end of the bee.

Took this with my 50 mm, 1/800, f5 in sports mode.
It was bigger because I didn't have zoom, so I cropped it to the bee and some of the flowers.
And contrary to what some people may think, I didn't get the wrong end of the bee. I love this angle. I've never shot a picture of a bee's butt before.
